sponsored by the Barilla family together with the Municipality of Parma, the Barilla center is the result of the conversion of the industrial area where in 1910 Mr Barilla installed his first pasta factory, a plan of urban upgrading designed by famous architect Renzo Piano.

Focusing on entertainment and leisure time, the area now includes the Auditorium Paganini, a multi-screen cinema, an indoor mall, a hotel, the headquarter of the historical Barilla archives, the cooking school Academia Barilla, a residential district, a vast parking lot, streets and squares.
Facilities match innovation, user friendly features and a strong concern for the total elimination of architectural barriers, in order to create the feeling of a place for everyone. 

Apart the shop of La Feltrinelli and the famous swedish chain H&M, there is the Space cinemas and there are also a pub pizzeria, a japanese restaurant, a pizzeria and a food store.

located 10 minutes walk from Garibaldi square, next to the Auditorium Paganini.
