The village is built around the remaining two towers of a 10th century castle, while a third one can still be seen in the Parish Church of St. Pietro, dating back to 14th century.

In the surroundings, noteworthy are also the Castle of Golaso, actually a fortified farm, and the typical house-towers in Fiassoni, Pisterlana and Busani. The massive Palazzo centrale is surrounded by a wall with two corner towers at the sides of the entrance.

Mount Barigazzo, over 1200 meters high, whose flat top is traditionally considered the home of witches and devils, offers a beautiful view on the Ceno Valley.

Weekly market: Friday.
